The Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World star admitted that his last encounter with a confused fan happened when he was paying for goods at a convenience store.
He told The Guardian: "I was in a convenience store about two, three weeks ago and a guy looked at me and he was like, 'Jesse Eisenberg?' I went, 'No, no...' Then he goes, 'Michael Cera!'"
He added: "People tell me all the time that they love me in Zombieland and I say, 'If you like me in Zombieland you've got to check out Adventureland'."
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World is playing in US cinemas now and arrives in the UK next Wednesday.
