Gambon, Sewell join 'Amazing Grace'

Michael Gambon, Rufus Sewell and Romola Garai have joined anti-slavery movie Amazing Grace, The Hollywood Reporter reveals.
Directed by Michael Apted (Enigma), the film will star Ioan Gruffudd as anti-slavery pioneer William Wilberforce and Albert Finney as his confidante John Newton. It will focus on Wilberforce's political career in which he was frequently at odds with the most powerful men of his time, including the king.
Gambon can currently be seen in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, whilst Sewell features in The Legend of Zorro.
Shooting on Amazing Grace began this week.
