Michael Cera has revealed that he "would have done anything" with director Edgar Wright before the pair worked together on Scott Pilgrim Vs The World.

The Juno star explained that he is a big fan of Wright, whose past films include Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

Cera told NME: "I would have done anything with Edgar, I would've read it first, but I would have done almost anything."

The pair also spoke about the soundtrack for the film, in which bands like Beck and Metric prentend to be other musicians.

Wright said: "Beck writes the songs for Sex Bob-omb which is Michael Cera's band, but he's kind of writing Sex Bob-omb songs rather than writing new Beck songs.

"I think all of the artists, him and Metric and Broken Social Scene, had fun playing their respective roles."
