Lee prepares 'Crouching Tiger' prequel

Ang Lee has spoken of his plans to revisit his hit 2000 action movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
Lee told MTV that a follow-up is by no means guaranteed, explaining: "It would be a prequel, if it happens." He insists that the idea, currently in the stages of pre-production, will not go ahead unless the director is suitably inspired by a storyline, explaining that so far "I haven't found a new passion equivalent to the first one."
Meanwhile, the stars of the original, Chow Yun-Fat, Michelle Yeoh and Ziyi Zhang, have not yet signed up for the proposed movie, though Lee is clear that his priorities lie elsewhere - "Once I have the script, we'll see what happens with the actors," he said.
Ang Lee's next film, Brokeback Mountain, hits screens this month.
