Cattrall 'doesn't know about SATC sequel'

Kim Cattrall has said that she doesn't know whether there will be a third Sex And The City movie.

The actress appeared on GMTV to promote her upcoming theatre role in Antony And Cleopatra and explained that she is not aware of any plans for a new film in the franchise.

When asked by Emma Crosby if a new Sex And The City sequel will be produced, Cattrall responded: "Who knows?

"I don't know. I haven't heard anything."

Cattrall said that she is concentrating on her Shakespeare character.

She added: "It is one of the great roles ever written for a woman of a certain age and I wasn't going to let it go by."

Antony And Cleopatra will be at Liverpool Playhouse in October.
