Jamie Foxx enters 'The Kingdom'

Jamie Foxx has joined Universal Pictures' dramatic thriller The Kingdom, reports Variety.
Written by Matthew Michael Carnahan and directed by Peter Berg (The Rundown), the film will feature Foxx (Ray) as the leader of a team of conter-terrorism investigators sent to the Middle East to get to the bottom of an attack on the US.
The movie will be Foxx's fourth collaboration with the film's producer Michael Mann. After working together on Collateral and Ali, Foxx stars in Mann's Miami Vice, scheduled for release on July 28.
