Bob Hoskins to play The Penguin?

There are online rumblings that Bob Hoskins may be appearing as The Penguin in the follow-up to Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins.
Website Batman-on-film.com has published the rumour, making it clear that it is nothing more than this so far. Their insider explained: "Now, this is nothing more than rumour, so make sure you provide your readers that disclaimer.
"I heard this from someone who has the proper connections and is usually on the mark. OK, the rumour is that The Penguin will appear as one of the villains in the next [Batman] film, right? Got a name for you: Bob Hoskins."
Meanwhile, rumour has recently been rife over casting options for The Joker, with names on the wish-list including Michael Keaton, Steve Carell, Paul Bettany and Mark Hamill.
