Fox Searchlight is planning a sequel to last year's low-budget comedy Johnson Family Vacation, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The first movie starred Cedric the Entertainer as the head of the Johnson family and followed the clan's cross-country journey to an annual family reunion. Johnson Family Vacation 2 will pick up where the original left off, taking place after their holiday ended.
Wayne Conley (King's Ransom) will write the script, whilst Cedric the Entertainer is expected to reprise his role.
