The widows of two of the eleven Israeli athletes murdered at the 1972 Olympics have praised Steven Spielberg's Munich.
"The movie respects the athletes," Ilana Romano, the widow of weightlifter Yosef Romano, told the AP.
"We didn't feel it was an affront or a negative thing, or an equation between the terrorists and the people who were trying to eliminate them — not innocent people, but people who would try to make another Munich," added Ankie Spitzer, widow of fencing coach Andre Spitzer.
