The British duo will join Rowan Atkinson, Gillian Anderson and Daniel Kaluuya in the spy spoof, titled Johnny English Reborn.
The story centres on Atkinson's bumbling secret agent trying to foil an assassination attempt on the Chinese premier.
St Trinian's helmer Oliver Parker is directing the Universal/Working Title project based on a script by Hamish McColl and William Davies.
Johnny English grossed a modest $28 million at the US box office in 2003, but turned a profit after taking an impressive $161 million in ticket sales worldwide.
