Director Alex Proyas for 'Paradise Lost'

The project is being developed as an action thriller about an epic war in heaven between archangels Michael and Lucifer, reports Variety.
The film will feature aerial warfare and could possibly be shot in 3D.
The original epic poem was published in 1667 in ten books.
Proyas's previous films include The Crow, Dark City and I, Robot.
