Tom Hanks may make an appearance in the next Star Trek movie, according to internet rumour.
Sci-Fi Heaven.net has reported that there is speculation that Hanks might be given a role in the unofficially-titled Star Trek XI - The Beginning if Paramount opt for Erik Jendresen's script.
Jendresen and Hanks previously worked together on the teleplay for mini-series Band of Brothers.
