Affleck's 'The Town' tops US box office

The Boston-set crime drama, co-starring Jon Hamm, Jeremy Renner and Rebecca Hall, sees off competition from new releases Easy A and Devil to land in first place with a $23.8 million haul.
Last week's number one movie Resident Evil: Afterlife falls to fourth place, while children's animation Alpha And Omega is a new entry at five.
Both Takers and George Clooney's The American drop four spots to numbers six and seven respectively, while Inception climbs up to eight.
Machete is the biggest box office faller, sliding down six places to number ten.
