Woody Allen has announced that his next project will be shot in Spain.
Although few details of the project have been revealed as yet, it is known that he will write and direct the project for Barcelona production company Mediapro. The English-language film will feature international and Spanish actors, states The Hollywood Reporter.
Allen said in a statement: "I hope that I'll be able to enjoy my stay in Spain, a country that has become very special to me."
Having recently wrapped Scarlett Johansson-starrer Scoop in the UK, Allen is currently enjoying a solid opening of Match Point, which has taken $720,000 (£414,000) from eight cinemas in New York and Los Angeles during its first six days of release. The movie will hit UK screens this weekend.
