'Da Vinci Code' to premiere in Louvre?

Film bosses are apparently considering holding the European premiere of The Da Vinci Code at the Louvre, reports IMDb.com.
The location would be the perfect place to debut the film, since the movie's story, based on Dan Brown's best-seller, kicks off in the world-famous Parisian art gallery. In an rare move, the gallery's management allowed director Ron Howard permission to film in the building.
If the event were to take place in the Louvre, it would be beneficial for both parties. The gallery enjoyed a record attendance of over seven million visitors last year, which some speculate was partly due to publicity from Dan Brown's novel.
Starring Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon and Audrey Tautou as Sophie Neveu, The Da Vinci Code is slated for a May 19 release.
