Dillon starred in the film as bigoted police officer John Ryan in a segment alongside Thandie Newton.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Dillon has now filed a lawsuit claiming he is owed around $100,000 in profits.
The film was made with a relatively low budget of $6.5 million but eventually grossed over $50 million domestically.
Crash caused controversy in 2006 when it was awarded the Oscar for 'Best Picture' over critical darling Brokeback Mountain.
Dillon's lawsuit is the latest in a long line of legal issues stemming from the film which include producers Cathy Shulman and Tom Nunan suing executive producer Bob Yari for withholding profits.
Yari has yet to respond to the accusations.
