The drama, Coppola's first since 2006's Marie Antoinette, will get its first UK public screening at the Odeon West End on October 27.
Somewhere stars Stephen Dorff as a Hollywood actor living at Los Angeles's Chateau Marmont Hotel. The arrival of his 11-year-old daughter (Elle Fanning) forces him to re-examine his life.
The film recently picked up the prestigious Golden Lion prize at the Venice Film Festival, although the award sparked controversy because the head of the jury - Quentin Tarantino - is a former boyfriend of Coppola.
The BFI London Film Festival, now in its 54th year, will run from October 13 to October 28.
Somewhere is due for release in the UK on December 10.
