Melanie Griffith joins 'Grief Tourist' cast

Melanie Griffith has boarded the cast of forthcoming dark drama The Grief Tourist.

According to Coming Soon, Griffith will join Michael Cudlitz and Bryan Cranston in the film, which is currently in production.

The movie follows a troubled man who is obsessed with serial killers and eventually decides to mimic their actions and retrace their footsteps.

Suri Krishnamma is to direct the picture from a script by Frank John Hughes.

The Grief Tourist will be released next year in the US.
