The actor, who plays Dr Carlisle Cullen in the vampire movie series, took to Twitter to express his thoughts about the writing.
He tweeted: "Just read the Breaking Dawn scripts. I must say... AWESOME! Very excited. :)"
Breaking Dawn is to be spit into two films directed by Bill Condon.
The first movie will arrive in US cinemas on November 18, 2011. The second one opens on November 16, 2012.
