The BFI London Film Festival will present the movie at Odeon Leicester Square. The screening will be followed by a live Q&A with director Mike Leigh and members of the cast, including Jim Broadbent, Ruth Sheen and Lesley Manville.
Nine other London cinemas and 25 regional venues will also show the film. All will receive a live satellite link-up of the red carpet in Leicester Square before the screening and the Q&A session after it.
Leigh said: “This is simply wonderful! It is a great honour to be part of this ground-breaking LFF event, and I'm delighted for this opportunity to share Another Year with such a wide audience."
Artistic director of the festival Sandra Hebron added: "Bringing film-makers and audiences together is at the heart of the festival and I am delighted that this year we can do this in a new way.
"Our first ever live satellite link-up will mean that audiences throughout the country can get a taste of the festival, enjoy the UK premiere of Mike Leigh's outstanding new film and hear about the making of it with the director and his wonderful cast."
Another Year received its world premiere at this year's Cannes.
