The dance duo - Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons - will supply a "modern beat" to accompany the entire movie, according to director Joe Wright.
Wright made the announcement at a New York Comic Con panel to promote the film.
The Chemical Brothers have previously supplied tracks for movies including Lost In Translation and Vanilla Sky, but this will be the first time they have scored a feature film with original music.
Hanna, starring Saoirse Ronan (The Lovely Bones) and Eric Bana, centres on a 14-year-old Eastern European girl who has been raised by her father to be a ruthless assassin. She later finds friendship with a French family and must leave behind her dark past.
