The film follows a college drop-out (Jonah HIll) who is asked to babysit three mischievous children as a favour to his mother.
However, when he brings the kids along to buy drugs from Rockwell's dealer in an attempt to impress a girl (Ari Graynor), the deal goes wrong and he ends up being chased around New York with the three youngsters in tow.
According to The Wrap, Rockwell will be acting alongside Curb Your Enthusiasm's J. B. Smoove, who has also been cast as a drug dealer.
It was previously reported that Joaquin Phoenix had turned down the chance to play one of the drug dealers in the movie.
Pineapple Express's David Gordon Green is to direct the picture, which is currently shooting with a view to a July 15, 2011 release.
