The official Highlander Facebook page reports that Lambert says he is in talks to join the cast of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance in an unspecified role.
"Lambert says thank you very much for all the kind comments! He says he is in talks now to do Ghost Rider 2 with Nicholas Cage," the page runner said. "He did sword training for 3 months. His pinky is fine (thanks for asking). And if you want to marry him, he will need to see a photo first."
Sony have already announced that Cage will reprise his role as Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider alongside co-stars Ciaran Hinds, Idris Elba and Johnny Whitworth.
Lambert is most widely known for his role in the 1986 fantasy action film Highlander but has appeared in a number of other films including Mortal Kombat and Southland Tales.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is scheduled to be released February 17, 2012.
