Tom Hardy has reportedly landed a role in the forthcoming third Batman movie.

The project would reunite the Inception star with director Christopher Nolan.

According to Deadline, producers are keeping the details of Hardy's Batman 3 role secret.

It is unknown if he would be playing a villain in the superhero sequel.

Hardy is currently filming action comedy This Means War and has also been cast in Mad Max: Fury Road.
