Richards starred in 2007's Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End as Captain Jack Sparrow's father Captain Teague.
Coming Soon claims that Richards has been signed to reprise this role in the Rob Marshall-directed Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Richards joins the returning Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush in the film, which follows Jack Sparrow as he encounters a woman from his past, played by Penelope Cruz.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is scheduled to be released in 3D on May 20, 2011.
