Sheridan defends 50 Cent movie violence

Jim Sheridan has defended the violence in his latest film Get Rich Or Die Tryin'.
The Oscar-nominated director agreed to work on the 50 Cent movie after being introduced to the rapper by U2's Bono.
"I think that there's a big preconception about 50 in America," itv.com quotes Sheridan as saying, "but it's a society in which guns are real, and it's a lot of black on black violence."
