Katie Holmes sex scene cut from movie

A sex scene starring Aaron Eckhart and Katie Holmes was accidentally cut from the movie Thankyou for Smoking.
The scene was present when the movie was screened at the Toronto Film Festival last year, but was conspicuously absent from the screening at the Sundance Film Festival.
However, a spokesperson for Fox Searchlight did not seem to be aware of the cut. She said: "It has never been altered. It will absolutely be released with that scene. We don't know what happened, but we are looking into it."
When director Jason Reitman was asked about the missing scene he joked and said it had been lost in a "technical glitch". He then added: "If you want to see a sex scene with Katie Holmes, rent The Gift."
