Russell to play villain in 'Spider-Man 3'

The Wild Things actress, no stranger to femmes fatales roles, will play the wife of Flint Marko (Thomas Hayden Church) who becomes pesky villain the Sandman.
Directed by Sam Raimi from a script he co-wrote with his brother Ivan, the film is to begin shooting this month.
