Phil Redmond has revealed that he is currently working on plans for a Grange Hill movie.
"I have been thinking about the idea for two years. I'm writing the script now and should be ready to start shooting in spring 2007 for an autumn release," he told The Mirror.
"I will be filming in and around Merseyside and I'll look at where some of the old characters are now and what happened to them."
The movie will be the first project for Redmond's own film production company.
