'Brokeback Mountain' banned in China
Cowboy romance Brokeback Mountain has been banned in China for its homosexual content.

The film, which features two male ranch-hands who fall in love while tending sheep on Brokeback Mountain, outraged censors in China's broadcast regulator the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, as the nation still considers homosexuality a taboo subject.

The decision to ban the film may come as a shock to director Ang Lee, who was last week praising Asia for having a much more open stance on sexuality.
