Halle Berry and Richard Gere will pick up this year's Hasty Pudding awards for "lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment."
The honour is presented annually by Hasty Pudding Theatricals at Harvard University – the oldest undergraduate drama group in America.
Oscar-winner Berry will lead a parade through Harvard in February. Gere, whose movies include Golden Globe-winning Chicago and An Officer, is also committed to the "Free Tibet" cause.
Last year's Puddings went to Tim Robbins and Catherine Zeta Jones.
