The Linkin Park frontman appears in the presumed-final movie Saw 3D as a racist who finds himself superglued to a car seat.
Bennington told MTV: "Mark Burg, the producer of the Saw films, lives next to one of my bandmates in Linkin Park. My bandmate brought up to Mark that I'm a huge fan of the films. Literally, every time they come out, I'm [there on] opening day."
Of the scenes, which sees Bennington tearing his flesh away from the seat, he added: "It was really cool. At one point, I was filming a part of the scene, and my wife was watching, and she actually almost threw up. So I knew that we were doing something right if it made her want to puke."
Saw 3D opened at the top of the US box office at the weekend.
