Vinnie Jones, Gerard Depardieu and Derek Jacobi are also leading the cast for first-time director Michael Anderson's thriller, titled Henry5.
Shakespeare's historical play chronicles the young King Henry V as he ascends to the throne following his father's passing.
Anderson's retelling, which he co-wrote with Andrew Hislop and Steve Wilkinson, moves the action into "an age of the apocalypse" where Henry fights a war against a neighbouring enemy after quelling an rebellion in his own country.
Henry V has been adapted for the big screen twice before. Laurence Olivier directed and starred in a 1944 version, while Kenneth Branagh made his directorial debut with a 1989 adaptation of the play.
