Marilyn Manson is planning to play author Lewis Carroll in a new film, according to BBC News Online.
The gothic rock singer hopes to both direct and star in the self-penned Phantasmagoria - The Visions of Lewis Carroll, and will attend February's European Film Market in Berlin for help with funding.
"What people expect from Manson, they're going to get here," explained producer Alain de la Mata. "He didn't want to wait for Cannes to do this, he's ready now."
Manson has apparently spent the past year working on costumes and make-up for the film.
