Matt Lucas has agreed to play Alfred Hitchcock in a movie about the director's life.
The Little Britain star will reportedly appear alongside Ewan McGregor in the film tracing Hitchcock's early life in London's East End.
"Matt is the perfect choice," a source told the Daily Mirror. "Their physical similarities are uncanny and he is a big fan of Hitch's movies. It's his first major film role and he's looking forward to going on to the big screen."
The news apparently crushes any hopes for a fourth series of Little Britain.
