Columbia Pictures have acquired Matthew Carroll's script Random Acts of Cruelty, Variety reports.
The movie will revolve around a selfish man whose single uncharacteristic act of kindness thrusts him into a parallel life.
Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch will produce for Escape Artists.
