Pinto, who played Latika in Slumdog Millionaire, agreed to star in Immortals once she learned that her male co-stars, including Mickey Rourke, Henry Cavill and Kellan Lutz, would be wearing little clothing. Meanwhile, Pinto spends the movie fully clothed, reports NDTV Movies.
"It was very interesting when I learned that the men were going to be objectified and the women could just enjoy themselves," Pinto said. "I was excited about doing a project where I was all covered but the men had these tiny miniskirts on. Sometimes the skirt was almost not there!"
Immortals tells the story of Greek warrior Theseus's battle against the imprisoned Titans. In the movie, Pinto plays an oracle who can see the future, but her greatest worry was acting in front of a green screen.
She explained: "The director Tarsem Singh is a visualist. His mind is almost like a child's imagination. He brings to life what some people can only imagine. The movie was shot using a green screen, which made me nervous at first, but then I realised you just have to let your imagination flow."
