Recent reports claimed that the Glee actress will have a cameo role as a prison guard. However, Lynch insisted that she hasn't been approached about starring in the comedy.
"I'm not doing the Muppets movie," The Hollywood Reporter quotes her as saying. "They haven't asked me. I would do it if they asked me."
Jason Segel, Amy Adams and Chris Cooper are on the Muppets cameo roster, while Eric Stonestreet, John Krasinski, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Lady GaGa have been linked to roles.
The Muppets will open in cinemas on Christmas Day 2011.
