In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the fashion designer said that she wants to make a movie about herself.
"I'm getting ready maybe to make an independent film myself. I'm thinking of maybe picking up a camera [and directing]," Wang explained.
She added: "I think in our fashion shows, we always try to tell a story even though it’s nine or ten minutes, and to take it to another level with three-dimension or four-dimension is kinda groovy."
The 61-year-old did not announce a production start date for the project, but revealed that she would style the movie.
She continued: "Probably if I make a film, I would use my own clothes."
