'Stranger' dethrones 'Momma' in US

When A Stranger Calls has dethroned Martin Lawrence comedy Big Momma's House at the box office over the weekend.
The horror remake, in which a teenage babysitter is harassed by a prank caller, opened with $22m, whilst Momma reeled in $13.4m in its second weekend.
