Wayne Wang has signed on to direct upcoming crime caper Lowlifes, reports Variety.
The story focuses on a housewife who stumps up $250,000 to cover her husband's embezzlement. She then discovers a surprising penchant for burglary.
Wang (Last Holiday) will direct from Patty Sullivan's script. Donald De Line (The Stepford Wives) and Wendy Japhet are producing.
