Mark Zuckerberg And The Found will be produced by both Hayden 5 and Bluewater Productions, and will be filmed using the rotoscope technique popularised by the 2006 film A Scanner Darkly.
The film will be an animated short based on Jerome Maida's upcoming comic book Mark Zuckerberg: Creator Of Facebook.
"[The film] will shed new light on the controversial story of the creator's life and bring a completely new look and feel than that of [The Social Network]," Bluewater explained to The Hollywood Reporter.
Maida's Mark Zuckerberg comic book is scheduled to be published in December.
