The campaign, entitled Face Of The Fan, allows unknowns 18 years or older to submit recordings of themselves acting on tape. According to Up And Comers, the website even provides the potential actors with a monologue to download for their submission.
Currently, Sony is using the campaign to cast "someone to play a pivotal role as a female teenager" in the highly-anticipated Underworld sequel. However, other projects that are said to open soon include the Mortal Instruments adaptation, based on the best-selling book series.
Underworld 4 is expected to be released in cinemas on January 20, 2012. Kate Beckinsale will return as Selene, but no other details are available on the project. The Mortal Instruments is also scheduled to be released in 2012.
