Clint Eastwood to make Oscars appearance

Clint Eastwood is the latest actor to agree to present an award at the 78th Academy Awards on March 5, producer Gil Cates has announced.
Eastwood has previously scooped four Oscars, taking the Directing and Best Picture awards in 1992 for Unforgiven and in 2004 for Million Dollar Baby. He has also received an Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, which goes to producers with output of a consistently high standard.
His current project is Flags of Our Fathers, an account of the Battle of Iwo Jima in World War II.
