Terrence Howard is reportedly lining up roles in two new movies following his Oscar nomination.
The star is apparently negotiating a lead role in PDR and a smaller part in August Rush, on top of plans already made for Idlewild, Awake, The Crusaders and The Brave One.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Howard is close to being confirmed as lead in PDR - which stands for Philadelphia Department of Recreation – a reality-based drama on Jim Ellis, the wildly-successful 1970s swimming coach.
He is also committed to a smaller part in Kirsten Sheridan's August Rush - a Warner Bros. drama about a young musician (Freddie Highmore) looking for his parents (Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Keri Russell). Howard will play a social worker.
