Nickelodeon unveiled key management changes at its movie division, now part of the MTV Networks Kids and Family Group, today.
Julia Pistor, previously senior vice president at Nickelodeon Movies, has been promoted to executive vice president. In that role, she will be responsible for the development, production and release of all feature films produced under the Nickelodeon Movies brand.
"Julia Pistor is a relentless creative leader and force for Nickelodeon feature films," said Nickelodeon president Cyma Zarghami. "She has been instrumental in shaping our movie division to reflect the heart of our brand, and I'm excited about what she will be developing and producing with her partners at Paramount."
Another key appointment is Michelle Raimo as senior VP of production. Raimo joins Nickelodeon Movies from Paramount, where she had the same role.
"Along with MTV Films, we've made the focus on Nick Movies a priority at Paramount, and Michelle's considerable creative strengths will be a great asset in realising the full potential of the Nick brand as a force in movies," said Paramount Pictures president Gail Berman. "It makes perfect sense for her to move within the family."
