Jennifer Beals has signed up to star alongside Amber Tamblyn and Sarah Michelle Gellar in The Grudge 2, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Directed by Takashi Shimizu, the film investigates the secrets of the grudge and follows the misfortunes of a group of seemingly unconnected people who are linked by the curse. Beals will play one of those to fall foul of the grudge's wrath.
This time around the focus will be on Tamblyn rather than Gellar, the latter making only a brief appearance as the elder sister of Tamblyn's character.
