Mira Sorvino boards 'Union Square'

Mira Sorvino has signed to star in the upcoming indie film Union Square.

Director Nancy Savoca is helming the picture, written by Savoca and Mary Tobler, about two sisters who reunite after several years apart, reports Deadline.

Oscar winner Sorvino will star with Tammy Blanchard in the project.

Patti LuPone, Michael Rispoli and Daphne Rubin-Vega have also boarded the cast.
