Slither creator James Gunn's low-budget film will be released on April 1, 2011, reports Superhero Hype.
The movie will star Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page, Liv Tyler and Kevin Bacon, with Gunn writing and directing.
The film stars Wilson as an ordinary man who decides to become a superhero when his wife leaves him for a drug dealer.
