'Pink Panther' sneaks to top of US chart

'The Pink Panther' / Fox UK Film
The resurrection of the adventures of Inspector Clouseau took $21.7m, with the third instalment of the horror franchise losing out by a whisker with $20.1m. Animated feature Curious George opened with $15.3m in third place, with Harrison Ford's Firewall trailing behind at four.
